April 7 – World Health Day
April 7th has been established by the WHO as a day of awareness and information about health. This year, the World Health Organization’s message is not only clear – it is urgent:
Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures
Do Not Forget:
- The health of women and their babies is a global right.
- Maternal health is lifelong health.
- Autonomy, dignity, and access to healthcare from adolescence through old age.
- A world where every mother is respected, every baby is safe, and every health right is protected.
As part of the celebration of World Health Day, Attica Rehabilitation & Recovery Center organized an interactive discussion with Internist Dr. Konstantinos Kritsos and Deputy Head of Nursing Services Mrs. Angeliki Paraschou on the topics of health, hygiene, and prevention. The event concluded with a therapeutic Pilates session led by Physiotherapists Mrs. Dora Karagianni and Mrs. Fotini Vangeli, with the participation of our patients.
