Yesterday was a different kind of day for both patients and staff at the Attica Rehabilitation & Recovery Center! The “miniature” therapeutic horses from Gentle Carousel Greece Miniature Therapy Horses, who are hosted at the Magic Garden in Rafina, visited our facilities and filled everyone’s hearts with love and tenderness, offering moments of emotion and joy.
Eyes filled with warmth, hands reached out with tenderness, and the atmosphere was filled with a unique rhythm – that of an unconditional connection to nature and life.

Therapeutic animal interaction is a gentle but highly effective form of supportive intervention. The ponies, with their small size and gentle nature, are ideal for approaching even the most hesitant patients, enhancing mental resilience, reducing anxiety, and bringing out a smile – often before the conversation even begins.
