Neurologist Specialist
Nikolaos Protopappas is an experienced Neurologist with an extensive professional background in both public and private healthcare institutions. He has held a Neurology specialty title since 2015 and has served as Head of the Neurology Department in rehabilitation centers, Head of the Neurology Department at the “Agia Irini” General Clinic, and as a Neurologist at the “Attica” Rehabilitation Center. He also maintains a private neurology practice in Nikaia.
His education includes a Medical Degree from Trakia University (Bulgaria), officially recognized by DIKATSA (the Greek authority for the recognition of foreign academic degrees).
He has actively participated in scientific conferences with publications on topics related to Neurology, Psychiatry, and Environmental Medicine, and has authored the Greek edition of the WAB-R for aphasia assessment. Additionally, he is certified by “The Academy of Brain Stimulation” at Maastricht University in the Netherlands in the application of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) protocols.
His vision is to make a substantial contribution to the advancement of neurological care by combining clinical excellence with innovative, evidence-based medical practices through collaborative research, continuous medical education, and the development of clinical tools that improve diagnosis, treatment, and patients’ quality of life. His long-term goal is to establish a Center of Excellence in Neurorehabilitation, integrating clinical practice with academic research and technological innovation.
