03.12.2025 – International Day of Persons with Disabilities

The International Day of Persons with Disabilities was established by the United Nations (UN) to raise awareness and sensitize governments, organizations, and societies about the rights and opportunities of people with disabilities.

The theme of this year’s celebrations focuses on: “The Empowerment of Inclusive Societies for Persons with Disabilities, for the Advancement of Social Progress”, highlighting the need to create environments that ensure accessibility, participation, and equal opportunities.

The teams at Attica Rehabilitation & Recovery Center share their own message for the day, portraying disability both as healthcare professionals and as individuals who experience disability on a daily basis.
