
Dimitris Pikridas
Head of Occupational Therapy – Inpatient Department
Dimitris Pikridas is an Occupational Therapist, holding a bachelor’s degree from the University of West Attica and currently a postgraduate student in the MSc program “Neurorehabilitation” at the Medical School of the University of Thessaly. He has experience in the rehabilitation of children and adults, having worked in specialized rehabilitation centers as well as as an external collaborator with special therapy facilities.
Since 2022, he has been a member of the interdisciplinary team at the Attica Recovery and Rehabilitation Center, contributing to the development and implementation of specialized occupational therapy programs. In parallel, he is active in the academic field, teaching specialty-related courses and participating in educational and research programs at the Attica Recovery and Rehabilitation Center. His continuing education includes specialization in the Bobath concept for adults, as well as in the fabrication of simple and complex splints.
As an active member of the scientific community and of the Hellenic Association of Occupational Therapists, he regularly participates in conferences and scientific initiatives, supporting the ongoing advancement of the profession. His professional vision focuses on the continuous improvement of the quality of care provided, the promotion of innovative rehabilitation practices aimed at maximizing patients’ autonomy and functional independence, and the ongoing education of new occupational therapists.
