The HCU at Attica Rehabilitation & Recovery Center is staffed with a highly trained team, including: Intensivist, Pulmonologist, Cardiologist, Neurologist, Physical Rehabilitation Physician, Specialized Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Neuropsychologist, Dietitian/Nutritionist.This interdisciplinary approach aims to provide high-level services during the early stages of patient rehabilitation, following stays in High Care Unit (HCU) or Intermediate Care Units (IMC).
Rehabilitation Team
The Rehabilitation Team designs and implements personalized rehabilitation and recovery programs for each patient, based on the severity of deficiencies and specific needs. Patients who have been discharged from the hospital after events such as ischemic or hemorrhagic strokes, traumatic brain injuries, central and peripheral nervous system diseases, hypoxic encephalopathy, and neuromyopathies can be admitted to the HCU at Attica Rehabilitation & Recovery Center for continuous recovery and rehabilitation care.
