Neuroplasticity & Neuro-modification Conference under the auspices of KAA Attica
High level of training, scientific innovations, prominent figures in the medical field, and an interdisciplinary approach were the pillars of the organization and execution of the scientific symposium titled ‘The Path of Medical Rehabilitation From the Acute Phase to the Community. The Contribution of Neuroplasticity & Neuro-modification to Neurological & Functional Recovery.’
Ms. Konstantina Petropoulou, President of the Conference and Head of Neuro-rehabilitation at Attica Rehabilitation Center, organized an excellent program aimed at fostering interaction among distinguished Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, Physicians of Physical Rehabilitation, and other Health Professionals. The event took place at the War Museum of Athens on January 18th. The program was supported by the Scientific Team of the Attica Rehabilitation Center, which participated with keynote speeches, the Administration with sponsorship, and Healthcare Professionals who attended the conference sessions.
The theoretical approach was followed by a Workshop day at the Attica Rehabilitation Center, with the participation of physicians from relevant specialties, from Nursing Institutions both within and outside of Attica, focusing on topics such as the Implantation of Baclofen Pumps, the Injection of Botulinum Toxin, and the use of TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation).
With the promise that scientific theory will be transformed into practice for the benefit of patients, Attica Rehabilitation Center is committed to supporting similar initiatives in the future, adhering to the belief that the exchange of ideas promotes medical practice and science.
