The Attica Rehabilitation Center, always motivated by the well-being of its patients, has invested in robotic technology and now possesses the EKSO NR robotic system by EKSOBIONICS. This system, designed for neuro-rehabilitation, supports balance, upright positioning, and walking. It is the first FDA-approved system (by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration) for use in patients with Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Multiple Sclerosis, and Spinal Cord Injuries. The primary goal of using the EKSO NR is early mobilization of the patient after an incident, through personalized programs focusing on balance, strengthening, and assisted walking. Intensive and repetitive mobilization is a key factor in gait rehabilitation, especially when it includes skill training and progressively challenging exercises. The EKSO NR enables users to walk and move with ease, utilizing robotic prosthetic devices that enhance their muscle strength and endurance. This technology allows patients to regain mobility and practice functionality safely and confidently. Clinical studies have demonstrated that early mobilization of patients significantly reduces complications that may arise following a stroke while greatly improving their functional abilities. These findings are reflected in a specialized EKSO NR program, EKSO PULSE, which records and displays session-specific performance metrics and patient progress. The system allows therapists to extract charts and results for further analysis. The EKSO NR paves the way for the future of rehabilitation, and the Attica Rehabilitation Center is committed to offering its patients access to this cutting-edge future. Robotic Technology
